Continuous inkjet printers

Economical, low-maintenance coding for expiry dates, batch codes, barcodes and logos on your product packaging, at full line speed.

Fast, economical coding with very little downtime

A continuous inkjet printer sprays a constant stream of microscopic ink droplets at your product as it passes, so it can mark nearly any surface at full line speed without touching it. That is why it is the most common coder on packaging lines: it is flexible, economical and quick to change from one job to the next.

What separates one CIJ printer from another is how well it looks after its ink. Good ink handling means less ink and solvent wasted, a nozzle that stays clean, and a printer that is ready to print within a minute of starting.

What you get

  • Less ink and solvent wasted
  • Printing within a minute of switch-on
  • More output from every shift
  • Easier, less frequent cleaning
  • Steadier running with fewer stops

Technology that protects your uptime

These features work together to keep the nozzle clean, the ink efficient and the printer ready to run.

01

Ink-saving nozzle seal

Whenever the printer pauses, the nozzle is sealed so the ink in it cannot dry, and unused ink is returned to the tank. Printing picks up again the moment the line restarts.

02

Ink cleaning filter

A very fine filter, rated to three microns, strains particles out of the ink as it circulates, which keeps the jet steady and the characters sharp without clogging.

03

Clean-air head

A gentle flow of filtered air through the print head keeps out dust and humidity and reduces the static that pulls in dirt, which protects the head in busy plants.

04

Self-maintaining standby

Keep the printer powered and it runs timed circulation and self-checks while idle, so it restarts quickly after a weekend or shutdown and avoids blocked nozzles.

05

Fine nozzle choices

Nozzles of 40, 50 and 60 microns let you trade droplet size against ink use while keeping codes crisp.

06

Built to resist contamination

IP54 and IP65 models, and a fluorine-coated nozzle on selected models, are designed to shrug off dust and damp.

Choose your printer

Two models cover high-speed coding from four to six lines. Tell us about your line and we will recommend the best match.

CCS 3100

A six-line, high-speed printer with a detachable touch panel, suited to plants that run several printers.

  • Up to 6 lines
  • IP65 rated
  • 10.4 inch detachable panel

Best for

  • High-speed lines with more text
  • Running up to 16 printers from one master

Specifications are indicative. We confirm the exact model and configuration for your line before you buy.

Built for Kenyan production lines

Continuous inkjet printers are the workhorse of Kenyan packing lines, from bottlers and dairies to millers and cable makers. These are the things we plan for.

  • A choice of IP54 and IP65 models for dusty, humid and warm factories.
  • Advice on power protection with stabilisers or UPS, so a dip does not interrupt coding.
  • Standby upkeep cycles that keep the printer ready after weekends and plant shutdowns.
  • Inks, make-up fluid and common spares available locally.
  • Installation, operator training and maintenance plans from a Kenyan team.
  • A link to your production system, so batch data reaches the printer without retyping.

How we work with you

Whatever you come to us for, the same clear process applies from first call to ongoing support.

  1. Assess

We learn about your product, packaging, line speed and what needs to be printed.

  2. Recommend

We propose the right printer, ink and layout, with a clear quote.

  3. Install and train

We install and commission the system and train your operators on the line.

  4. Support

Inks, spares and maintenance keep production running, with our team a call away.

Common questions

What can a continuous inkjet printer print?

Expiry and production dates, batch and lot numbers, text, serial numbers, logos and 1D or 2D barcodes, on up to six lines depending on the model.

What surfaces can it print on?

Almost any. Because printing is non-contact, it codes plastic, glass, metal, film, carton and cable at full line speed. The ink is matched to the surface, and we confirm it before recommending a system.

How do I keep ink and solvent costs down?

Choose a printer that seals its nozzle when idle, filters its ink finely and keeps itself ready on standby. Smaller nozzles also use less ink for the same clear code.

What if the printer sits idle for a few days?

If it stays powered on, timed cycles keep the ink circulating and run self-checks, so it can start quickly after a weekend or a shutdown.

Which IP rating do I need?

IP54 models suit most lines, including dusty and humid sites. IP65 models give extra protection in harsher conditions. We look at your environment before recommending one.
